93x26x10'10" Very heavily built ex research vessel John N. Cobb built by Western Boat Building in 1950. Cat D379 main with low hours and Cat 3 to 1 reverse gear on hand to be installed. Detroit 3-71 with large 30kw Delco end Detroit 6-71 also driving 30kw Delco via pto with double pto after for dual hydraulic pumps. Both engines run great. The 3-71 needs a voltage regulator however. Large double drum anchor with with 800lb anchors on heavy stud link chain and cable with gypsy heads. 4,000lb working boom. Packs 8,000 gal fuel with 120 gal day tank, 6,000 gal water, and 2,200 gal sewage tank. Has Delaval oil seperator for bilge pump out. The vessels hull is tight. Pumped once every few months with very little accumulation. Two heads in main deck-house along with shower. Large galley with microwave, trash compactor, custom built Stainless steel refrigerator and freezer, and nice cabinets. Two large two bunk staterooms in main deck-house with sinks and large Captains cabin with sink aft of wheelhouse. Large pantry and lots of closets, storage, and drawers aboard. Huge fos'cle with engineers 2 bunk stateroom with sink and 4 stacked bunks forward. Huge hold area with two walk in freezers. Main engine removed and ready to receive new engine. Engine area steel work all cleaned, prepped as needed and three coats of Ameron epoxy applied. Approx 85% of aft deck removed, with new old growth fir decking installed, corked, and pitched. Texas deck had new decking installed also along with new cap rail on port side. New purple heart guards installed on port side as needed, with new purple heart cap rail on port well deck bulwarks, new purple heart chaffing as needed. She needs the engine/gear installed to be operational. The hull is very very heavily built like the wooden tugboats were, massive timbers and all in good shape. Hull does need paint at this time. The whole boat has been treated with ethylene glycol and boron as a preventative. Moorage in Winchester Bay, Oregon is paid thru April of 2022 and she is insured. Florence, Oregon moorage would be $1,500 a year at this writing with live-aboards allowed for an additional fee. Would make a great live-aboard and many other uses possible. She's USCG documented with a fishery endorsement currently. Price is $75,000 which includes the engine and reverse gear. Seller will consider terms to right party with at least half down.
