$50,000

51x13x6.5 wood troller built 1935 and rebuilt by shipwright Jack Hendrickson for use as his personal troller. Rebuilt Detroit 6-71N 4 valve main coupled to Twin Disc 509 reverse gear, new fuel tanks, all new hold liner, completely new wheelhouse and spacious fos'cle with 3 comfortable bunks, shower with head area-not completed, hull has been completely recorked, refasten, and rebuilt to a degree I have not seen in over 40 years. The craftsmanship is of the highest/professional quality throughout. Unfortunately Mr. Hendrickson passed away before the boat was completed. She is in the water now, with no permanent bilge pump installed even. Would need steering hooked up (hydraulic cylinders are installed). batteries, engine hooked up, and minimum wiring to steam away. New in box electronics on hand, 28' mast, set of three spool Kolstrand gurdies, and other goodies come with. Brokers Note: This boat is truly exceptional with yacht type interior, quality of construction, and must be seen to be fully appreciated. For all intents and purposes the boat is brand new and even smells like a new boat inside. She is a project to be finished and as such is recommended only for those with the skills/knowledge to complete properly. Reported to be an excellent seaboat per some of the old guard who knew her. First $50,000 FIRM takes her.

Both main and auxiliary have hydraulic "smart pumps" to run reefer and 7.5kw genset. Packs approx 4,000 gal fuel. Aluminum mast and trolling poles, boom has topping, lifting, and vanging with Pullmaster winches. Two tuna pinch pullers. Brokers Note: Haida Explorer was previously named Seaborn when fishing tuna on US west coast. Reportedly has also fished Midway. Builder Phil Brooks is a Canadian builder who is renowned for his quality workmanship and vessel is reportedly of "Ice Class" construction. I recently bought the boat to Winchester Bay, Oregon. We had some bad weather( 25-30knots) and the boat rode very well, was fast, and main ran great. The holds figures out at 9.2 ton schoolies, but could pack twice that or more if opened back up. The boat was used in the past for tendering and the sides of the hold were converted to fuel tanks. Seller will consider terms with substantial down payment from solid buyer.
